The door opened on August 1. Since then, the work has been the kind you don’t see from the shore.

The update channel now carries firmware to a receiver across a weak connection and does not let it arrive broken. The seam between the server and the platform is held by contracts that are tested, not assumed. The build cycle for the first batch of receivers has been walked end to end — image, provisioning, update path — and every fault found along the way is fixed.

None of this promises an arrival. It is a promise of readiness: if something arrives, the sensor will notice, the registry will record, and the record will persist.
